Natalie Gulbis reports from the Solheim Cup in Sweden
Hard to believe the fine people at the LPGA decided to put the Solheim Cup during the same week as the PGA’s FedEx Cup finale. But, hey, who needs viewers? Anyway, Natalie Gulbis has a post on her blog describing the free goodies she just received.
“The rooms have been the highlight of the day! They are decorated with Solheim red, white, and blue everywhere! It’s amazing! There are flags everywhere. Balloons, American flag blankets, our new Solheim bag and accessories. Then the clothes – there are so many cute outfits. It’s chilly here so the staff equipped us with hand warmer gloves and heat packs. The Solheim family gave us a new video ipod and bose headphones. I needed an ipod and was looking to purchase another one so I am thrilled.
“Canon was gracious to give every player a Canon Snapshot. We will all take pictures throughout the week and the LPGA staff will download them to the LPGA website. Make sure everyone checks those out.
“We have a fun easy reception tonight and team dinner so I am off to join my team.”
