The Golf Blog: Tiger Woods fined for spitting on green (video); apologizes on Twitter
The Golf Blog says: Tiger Woods spit on the green after missing a putt on Sunday in Dubai. The European Tour fined him an undisclosed amount. Tiger apologized on Twitter:
“The Euro Tour is right – it was inconsiderate to spit like that and I know better. Just wasn’t thinking and want to say I’m sorry.”
