The Golf Blog says: Stevie Williams let loose at a caddies’ awards dinner at the HSBC tourney in Shanghai. Asked why he was interviewed after Adam Scott’s Bridgestone victory, shortly after being fired by Tiger Woods, Williams said, “My aim was to shove it right up that black a**”.
After word got out about the remarks, Williams apologized on his website: “I now realize how my comments could be construed as racist. However, I assure you that was not my intent. I sincerely apologise to Tiger and anyone else I have offended.”
Wow.
