The Golf Blog: Rory McIlroy picks up Nike ball and withdraws from Honda Classic after nearly shooting 42 for first nine
The Golf Blog says: After dunking his approach shot into the water on 18 (his 9th hole) Rory McIlroy, the defending champion at the Honda Classic, picked up his Nike ball and withdrew without finishing the hole, after going 7-over in 8 holes and about to shoot 42 or even worse for the opening nine. Speechless.
