Phil Mickelson started off in style in the 2nd round of the 87th PGA championship, carding a 5 under par 31 on the back nine. Starting on hole number 10, Phil birdied holes 11, 13, and 14 before carding his first bogey on the 230 yard par 3 16th. But, Mickelson, who looked god-awful in a hat during round 1, birdied the 650 yard par 5 17th and eagled the 554 yard par 5 18th. As it stands now, Woods is 13 shots back and has not hit a shot today.

Others making a move in round 2.

Sergio Garcia, who could not putt yesterday, finished with 32 (-4) on the back including an eagle 2 on the 424 yard par 4 13th, and currently stands at -2 for the championship.

Sean O’Hair is also 4 under par for the day, finishing with 32 (-4) on the back nine. O’Hair is currently -3 for the tournament.
