Reno-Tahoe Open: Duval, dead last
I’ve been a steadfast fan of David Duval, so it’s very painful to watch him in this slump, for the lack of a better word. Today, he shot 82, 10-over par and is dead last in a field of 132 players (minus the big guns and winners playing at Firestone). I can only imagine what it must feel like to go from No. 1 in the world and shooting 59, to not being able to break 80 or make a cut. Cruel, exasperating.
