Not to be outdone… Wie withdraws as well…
Michelle Wie has withdrawn from the Ginn Tribute after playing 16 holes. She must have heard that blaming a wrist is the new “hip” thing (See Phil’s WD today from the Memorial). However, as noted in this ESPN.com article, she might have withdrawn because she was 14 over thru 16 and nontour players are banned from further LPGA competition for the year if they shoot 88 or more.
Too bad Michelle…
