Justin Leonard wins, Suzann Petterson wins in playoff
Are the pros still playing tournaments? Yesterday, Justin Leonard made an appearance at the Valero Texas Open to beat Jesper Parnevik in a playoff. Both guys have been off the radar screen for some time, so it’s good that one of them won. Leonard looks like he’s a little bit more fit these days and he’s been working on some swing changes. (more)
Meanwhile, Lorena Ochoa appeared to be on her way to another victory on the back nine on Sunday, when she was caught by Suzann Petterson (who started the day with a 2-stroke lead over Ochoa). Petterson won on the second hole of the playoff, leaving some question again whether Lorena knows how to close. (more)
