Kenny Perry must love Muirfield Village, the site of the Memorial. Today, he won the tournament for the third time, tying Tiger Woods for the most Memorial victories.
Matthew Goggin had a 3-shot lead going into today’s round, but looked completely discombobulated on the course today.
Perry, however, was solid all day and won by two strokes over Mike Weir and Jerry Kelly. The victory all but assures that Kenny Perry will play in this year’s Ryder Cup, which will be played in his home state of Kentucky. Way to go, Kenny!
