Pat Perez wins 1st PGA tourney at Bob Hope Classic
Steve Stricker had a 3 shot lead at the start of the day, but had a complete meltdown shooting + 5, with a quadruple bogey on the card. OK, we have to give some credit to Stricker. He shot 61 and 62. It’s really hard to go low 3 days straight. That opened the door for Pat Perez, who finally got the monkey off his back with an eagle on the final hole.
Double P is 32 years old. The Golf Blog is so happy for Pat, and expect even bigger things to come from him.
