TMZ reports from an unnamed source that the accident occurred after wife Elin confronted Woods about this week’s allegations of an affair with another woman. According to TMZ, Elin chased Woods’ car with a golf club and Tiger lost control. And the lacerations on Tiger’s face were from Elin, not the crash, according to TMZ.
TMZ’s report contradicts the story Elin allegedly told Windemere police that she ram outside after hearing the accident and broke
the windshield with a golf club to save Woods and pull him out of the car.
Whose account sounds more likely–Elin’s or TMZ’s?
We agree. The news media, normally deferential to Woods, will have to investigate the allegations of a Tiger Woods affair now. The golf beat writers who normally don’t say anything negative about Woods may also have to check into the allegations. We pray none of it’s true.
