The Golf Blog: Tiger Woods makes charge, close to winning Masters and 15th Major
The Golf Blog says: Tiger Woods shot a 5-under 31 on the front nine, to tie Rory McIlroy for the lead at -10. Rory played so tight the opening nine, and looks like a deer in headlights. Tiger, on the other hand, looks hungry and ready to eat some prey.
At this point, Tiger is the one to beat and it’s his tournament to lose. Smart money says Tiger wins his 15th major and ends all questions about his golf game.
If the Masters were a presidential election, the news networks would be now–at 3 p.m. ET–projecting Tiger Woods as the winner. It’s over, folks.
