The Golf Blog: Webb Simpson wins 1st PGA win at Wyndham with belly putter
The Golf Blog says: If you have money to invest, it might be a good bet to put it into belly putter stock. Last week, 26 year old Keegan Bradley won the PGA Championship with a belly putter. The week before, Adam Scott won the Bridgestone with a long putter. And this week Webb Simpson won his 1st PGA tour victory with a belly putter.
Simpson shot a final round 67 to win the Wyndham by 3 shots over George McNeill.
Meanwhile, Ernie Els, Padraig Harrington and William McGirt all backed their way into the FedEx Cup playoffs on the final day.
