The Golf Blog: No defenders of Ryann O’Toole’s selection to Solheim Cup?
The Golf Blog says: After Ryann O’Toole has missed the last 3 cuts since her controversial selection as a captain’s pick to the Solheim Cup for the U.S. team, we are desperately searching for anyone who will now defend that selection. So far, we’ve found none.
Ryann made her fame on The Golf Channel’s Big Break Sandals competition. She’s had no LPGA victories and only 2 Top 10 finishes this year.

Ryann’s stats in 9 LPGA tourneys this year were less than stellar. 4 Missed cuts, only 2 Top 10 finishes. These results, plus lack of experience, make her selection to the Solheim Cup a head-scratcher. There is so much pressure at the Solheim Cup, and a golfer can get really exposed in the matches.
