The Golf Blog says: Ryann O’Toole from Big Break Sandals fame was a surprise captain’s pick for the U.S. Team at the Solheim Cup. Captain Rosie Jones picked the LPGA rookie over several more seasoned veterans who had higher points:

Since being selected for the Solheim Cup, O’Toole has missed 3 straight cuts, including this week’s Navistar LPGA Classic. In one of the tourneys, O’Toole finished dead last at -10. This does not bode well.
