The Golf Blog: Tiger Woods and Rickie Fowler at Fiesta Bowl Stanford-Oklahoma State
The Golf Blog says: Tiger Woods was an honorary captain for Stanford’s football team in the Fiesta Bowl last night. Meanwhile, Rickie Fowler represented his Oklahoma State team. The game was an offensive shootout that Stanford lost, 41-38, on two missed field goals–one at the end of regulation and the other in overtime. Apparently, Stanford kicker Jordan Williamson could have used some advice from Tiger. Williamson hooked both kicks badly.
Afterwards, Rickie tweeted: “Victory is sweet…what a game…my boys hung in there and found a way to win…the gifts helped though…a win is a win!! #GoPokes. Red eye back home to FL…sleep,workout,practice.”
