The Golf Blog: Phil Mickelson implodes with 6-over day, 9-over for British Open
The Golf Blog says: Phil Mickelson is tied for 142nd out of 156 players in the British Open. For a guy who almost won the Masters this year, Phil’s game has really gone south since then. He’s looked sloppy on the course, and his premature withdrawal from the Memorial was a low point of the year for Phil. It didn’t help him at all to get ready for the U.S. Open. The window on Phil winning another major may well be closing.
