The Golf Blog says: The US team leads the Euros, 10-6. No team has ever come back from a 4 point deficit on Sunday, except for the controversial US team in Brookline (remember Justin Leonard’s huge putt and the pandemonium with US players running onto the green, depsite Jose Maria Olazabal’s turn to putt).
Instead of the Rory McIlroy versus Tiger Woods matchup, we get Rory v. Keegan Bradley, the rookie Ryder Cup player who was the MVP for the US Team so far when paired with Phil Mickelson. Tiger, who played well on Friday and Saturday afternoons but went 0-3, is playing the anchor match against Francesco Molinari.
We give the edge to the US Team in 8 matches and the Euros only in 3 matches. The most tantalizing matchup is Rory v. Keegan Bradley. That’s gonna by good!
