The Golf Blog says: Rory McIlroy, it’s no secret, has signed with Nike, though it will be officially announced at Abu Dhabi, where Rory starts the 2013 season. It’s quite a coup for Nike, and he’s the heir apparent to take over the reins from Tiger Woods in terms of golf celebrity/icon status.
With girlfriend Caroline Wozniacki, Rory tweeted Happy New Year! Hope you, golf fans, had a fantastic start to 2013. We look forward to ushering in the new season with you.
