The Golf Blog: Tiger Woods plays golf with President Obama
The Golf Blog says: President Barack Obama is playing golf in Florida over the long President’s Day Weekend. Tiger Woods joined President Obama to play a round of golf at the Floridian. It was the first time the two have played golf together, although Tiger Woods did endorse Obama in the 2008 election and was a speaker at the first Inaugural ceremonies. The rest of the foursome included Jim Crane, the owner of the resort and Houston Astros, and Ron Kirk, the US Trade Representative.
Butch Harmon gave some swing tips to Obama. Harmon said: “The President said to Tiger: ‘The last tournament you played was fun to watch. It’s good to see you play well again.’ You could tell he meant it. It just wasn’t a throw-it-out compliment.”
Wonder if Harmon gave Woods any tips?
