The Golf Blog says: Vaughn Taylor, who lost his PGA Tour card, had an amazing final round 65 to win the ATT Pebble Beach tourney. Phil Mickelson had a chance to force a playoff on the final hole, but his birdie attempt from 5 feet lipped out. Taylor, who hasn’t won in 11 years, qualifies now for the Masters, after he was struggling just to qualify for PGA tournaments. Phil played well this week and seems to have found some positive changes with his swing and new coach. In truth, though, the win means far more to Vaughn than it would have for Phil. Happy Valentine’s Day!
