The Golf Blog says: Jimmy Walker won the PGA Championship, edging Jason Day (who eagled the 18th) by 1 stroke. The victory is Walker’s first major, making 2016 a year in which all 4 majors were won by first-time major winners (Willett, Johnson, Stenson, and Walker). The majors were won by 2 Americans and 2 Europeans this year. Now, on to Rio.
It’s also a year in which Jordan Spieth, Rory McIlroy, and Jason Day were shut out at the majors.
